I've been searching for sasquatch evidence for a couple of years now
in Oh and WV, and have managed to find tracks, fingerprints, and hair.
I am especially interested in the hair since it can't be hoaxed and can
furnish dna proof.
My problem is in sorting out the non target animal hair and only
submitting high probability hair for dna analysis. The reason being that
it is extremely difficult to get a reputable lab to do the analysis.
I presently have samples waiting for analysis at NYU, with no idea
when they will test them, nor how long it will take. They don't
volunteer any information and I don't want to pester them. I was
able to determine with my own microscope that these were Human-like
hairs.
But I have another hair which may be SQ, but I don't want to send
any more there until I get some answers on the first ones. This one
however is not human, but neither does it match any other Ohio animal.
The one remaining possibility is that it is from a different part of
a Black Bear than the Black Bear samples that I now have. If I can
eliminate that I will attempt to get a dna test on it.
So if any reader of this message knows of an Ohio lab who would do
dna testing, or who has a good data base of hair samples and has the
time to correspond, please let me know.
Larry.
